Period-2 meeting

Our long-awaited period-2 meeting finally arrived and opened with invited talks by Jelle Zuidema and Hosein Mohebbi. They gave our community an exciting account of how state-of-the-art language and speech models can be interpreted in an actionable manner. A plentitude of questions following the talks showed that these engaged a great part of the audience, possibly promising new collaborations.

The NLP@U team gave a round of updates and made several exciting announcements: INLG is coming to Utrecht in October, and our community will likely contribute to making it a memorable event. The planned dates of the next two community meetings were also announced: 7 of May and 17 of June respectively. We appreciate the superb meeting and look forward to seeing everyone again!
